Caledonia is a selfmanaged investment trust company with net assets of c.2bn. Our heritage can be traced back to the shipping empire Clan Line Steamers, the world's largest cargo carrying line established by Sir Charles Cayzer in 1878. We continue to enjoy the backing of the Cayzer family, who own some 48.5% of the share capital. 

Along with other professionals, two descendants of Sir Charles (fifth generation) are actively involved as executive directors. They are custodians of capital, aiming to generate and protect wealth for future generations.
